OFTEC’s redeveloped site is easier to use
OFTEC has redesigned and relaunched its OFTEC Direct website, which supplies tools, books and equipment. The site is now easier to navigate with current offers all grouped together in one place. Users can order online, with the added option of paying in euros as well as UK sterling. The system now accepts laser cards, providing they are the new issue featuring the Mastercard or Visa symbols.
Beverly – an inspiration to other women
Earlier this year UK Energy Training welcomed its very first female candidate – Beverly Jones. Over the years, the company has trained and assessed thousands of oil and gas engineers and hundreds of new entrants and apprentices; until now they have all been male. UK Energy Training is hoping that Beverly has started a new trend.

METAC – equipping installers for the commercial industry
Irish training provider, METAC, is now offering OFTEC’s commercial oil OFT10-201 course. The course is designed to equip installers that have already obtained OFTEC 101, 105E and 600A qualifications, to work in the commercial field.
