The company already has an established following to its @MyGrantUK accounts on X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, but its new @GrantUK_Home platform will be home to content that is specifically tailored to help homeowners. Whether a consumer is looking to research sustainable heating options available for their home or they are searching for after-sales advice for a Grant system already installed in their property, this new channel will be a hub of information for homeowners.
Making resources more accessible
Through @GrantUK_Home, Grant is hoping to make its help and resources more accessible to end-users. For homeowners planning to upgrade their heating system for a greener, more sustainable alternative, the platform will share useful blogs about heat pumps, hybrids and HVO as well as handy advice about getting their home prepared for a low temperature heat pump. For consumers already living with a Grant heating system, such as an award-winning Aerona air source heat pump or Vortex oil boiler, @GrantUK_Home will also share tips about how to maintain their heating systems and advice about how to keep it running as efficiently as possible. The platform will also share customer stories from those already enjoying a Grant heating system.
With the addition of this new consumer channel, Grant UK’s existing Instagram has been updated to @GrantUK_Pro and it will now be dedicated to supporting heating professionals. This professional account will still include the latest news, product and service updates with more technical content also provided to help installers, merchants, housebuilders and other followers.
An important role
“Social media has an increasingly important role in helping consumers to access the information they need especially when it comes to home improvements,” writes Anna Wakefield, Head of Internal Sales and Marketing at Grant.
“We have developed extensive resources on our website to help consumers, such as our Knowledge Hub for homeowners searching for a new heating system and our Customer Support Centre for those already heating their homes with a Grant product, so our new @GrantUK_Home Instagram channel will make this content more readily available. Alongside our Professional account, we are looking forward to growing Grant’s presence on Instagram as we continue to help installers and their homeowners transition to low carbon home heating.”
