Those working in local authorities and social housing organisations are invited to the event which will be held on Wednesday 26th March 2025.
Hosted as part of Retrofit Action Week South West, the event will give guests the opportunity to join representatives from Grant UK and the Heat Pump Association (HPA) to learn about air source heat pumps and the benefits of low carbon heating systems, and discover more about the support available.
Open from 10am, the event will commence at 10.30am with a presentation by Craig Payne, Grant UK’s Regional Specification Manager for the West of England and Wales. This will be followed by a talk from Olivia Smalley, Head of Policy and Communications at the Heat Pump Association, focusing on the heat pump industry.
An informal Q&A session with Craig and Olivia will follow before guests will be given a tour of Grant UK’s Training Academy and heat pump training facilities. The event will then finish with refreshments and networking.
“We are looking forward to being a part of Retrofit Action Week South West with our Heat Pump Spotlight Event,” comments Craig. “It should be a great opportunity for those working in local authorities and social housing organisations to come together to develop their knowledge of heat pumps and feel ready to take the next steps towards incorporating low carbon technologies into their own properties and developments. We are also very pleased to be joined by Olivia Smalley from the HPA to share greater insight into the heat pump industry.”
