“The App has been designed by engineers for engineers and provides access to all the latest important service and installation data for our complete range of air conditioning, heating, ventilation and controls,” explains Steve Hayward, technical services and aftersales manager for the company.
The app is available to download onto Apple, Android and Windows mobile devices and field engineers can also use it offline, whether that is to check a dipswitch setting or simply just to look up a thermistor value.
Mitsubishi Electric developers have designed the new app so that it can allow for new content updates within minutes. Information for the app is uploaded directly from the company’s in house service engineers and technical experts.
“This will not only help our customers whenever they are out on a job but it will also have a dramatic impact on the speed that we can provide service information to them as well,” adds Steve Hayward.
“We’ve designed this for purpose so that we can offer our customers simple and easy access to these key functional engineering tools.”
The ME Engineer App can be downloaded by typing in “ME Engineer” into search field within iTunes, Google Play or Windows App stores.
