The company already guarantees that all of its domestic heating products will be free from defects for at least three years, and that things will be put right if anything does go wrong with the equipment.
The company has now introduced changes to improve the support offered to accredited installers and to enable them to extend the warranty on the Ecodan outdoor unit to seven years.
“We have simplified both paperwork and parts ordering to make life easier for accredited installers,” explains Graham Temple, marketing manager for Mitsubishi Electric’s range of heating products.
In addition to the changes targeted at heating engineers, the company has set up a dedicated homeowner helpline to assist with any enquiries from customers (0161 866 6064), and has also created dedicated homeowner pages on its website to explain how the system works for customers.
Customers can now register their Ecodan guarantee online, by phone or by post. More details can be obtained at: http://heating.mitsubishielectric.co.uk/ForHomeowners.
